Specializing in Alpine Lake Sales and Rentals. Clutter Realty was started in 1985 by Tom Clutter, of Terra Alta, WV who is still active in the business today at age 72. Tom formerly operated a Strout Realty office from 1974 to 1985 before starting Clutter Realty. The business originally located in Terra Alta has been conveniently located across from the entrance to Alpine Lake Resort since 1987.

A family business for many years, Tom’s son Dave licensed since 1979 returned in 1987, Dave’s wife Robin was licensed and joined in 1998. Tom’s daughter Cathy licensed since 1995 returned in 2001. The newest member of the family, Robin’s sister Amy Thomas joined us in 2007.

Alpine Lake is an assessed community located 20 minutes from Deep Creek Lake in the mountains of West Virginia. It is a great place to come and get away from it all. Whether you want a second home or a full time residence everything is geared towards quietness, only street legal vehicles are allowed on the roads, no ATVs or snowmobiles. No gasoline motor boats allowed on the lake, electric motors only, canoes, rowboats, and sailboats are fine. Maximum boat length is 17 feet.

Amenities include a restaurant, bar, 18 hole golf course, pro shop, conference rooms, exercise room, fishing, cross country ski trails, hiking trails, 148 acre lake, beach, boathouse, playground area, tennis courts and miniature golf. If you like to walk or bike, there are over 30 miles of almost traffic free roads which are plowed any maintained by Alpine. No hunting allowed, 24 hour security.
